Kristin Fisher joined CNN in 2021 when she joined CNN. She'll be CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent she will cover everything from NASA and the recently created Space Force, to commercial space companies and the advent to space tourism. Kristin, her mother was one of NASA astronauts and an enthusiastic space lover was raised in the industry. She spent five years in the position of White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy in the Trump and Biden Administrations. As she covered the two presidential impeachment cases, 2020's Presidential Campaign, and the two administrations' attempts to stop the spread of coronavirus The reporter also covered a range of other subjects. Former president Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan on a highly-restricted trip. Kristin was a TV local reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., in which she was awarded the Emmy Award for her work as a "one-man-band" reporter prior to joining CBS in the year 2015. Utilizing her expertise in front of the camera Kristin established Field Mouse Films in 2014, which was a specialist in documentary style films for clients of corporate nature, including Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has an Bachelor in Science in Journalism that she earned at Boston University. She is currently living in Washington, D.C., along with her family members, including their three-year-old daughter.
